Human Trafficking
Hey guys, I know I haven’t posted in quite a while. But Hey! I’m back! Things on Guam have been going quite normally, it’s still hot, humid, and sunny! Ha, but I’ve got some exciting news! I’m dying to share it.
Many of you know that I have a passion to fight the issue of Human Trafficking, it’s a very real problem in our world, even in America and I’ve finally found the path I’m headed down to achieve that goal. In January, I will be attending a trip to work with young girls who have been rescued from Traffickers in another country. I can’t tell you how excited I am! Every time I think about it, I smile. This is exactly what I want to do, and exactly where I know God wants me to be. I feels great to know your doing the right thing.
I know a lot of you probably want me to come back home and visit, but the truth is guys, I need to do this. It’s a part of me, I can’t explain it. But I will be home when we leave this island for good, I promise. But until then, I need to take a trip somewhere else to help those who need it, instead of coming home for a bit. I miss and love you all, but this isn’t for me, it’s for others.
Imagine Peace
Hey guys,
Just a little bit of exciting new for my upcoming novel Imagine Peace. I had a major breakthrough with it today! So now I’ll be doing some big storyline revisions and will be sending it out to my beta readers very soon! At least the prologue and first chapter for sure this week.
I’ve already got the first nine chapters complete for the original storyline but now that I’m changing the story, I’ll have to rewrite a lot of those.
Either way I have a feeling I’ll be able to release the novel very soon!
I’m also going to be starting on a new series coming up as well which I’m very excited for. Keep checking out my blog for new information and updates on the release date Imagine Peace on Amazon as an e-book and hopefully paperback soon as well.
I hope you all enjoy it!
Finally finding my way
Things are really starting to look up over here. Not that they haven’t been already, I’ve had a wonderful marriage so far and live on a tropical island that most refer to as paradise. What could go wrong? Well actually a lot, but that’s for a different day. Let’s just say, I’m finally finding my way.
My day to day routine consists of:
Waking up around 10:00 A.M.
Feeding and letting my puppies out.
Eating a bowl of Essentially Me cereal, (the knock off Special K stuff).
Then, getting back in bed to sit on the computer and check my Facebook, then my email, and all that other boring good stuff.
BUT OH HAS EVERYTHING CHANGED.
Basically for the past few months, I’ve been writing my first full-length novel entitled Imagine Peace.
I’m almost done with it, but I’m doing some major revisions right now. And thankfully, I have a great friend who is a photographer and is creating my cover.
Along with that, I’m starting college! WHOO HOO! Although, as excited as I am, I’m a tad disappointed simply because it’s school.
A New Home
After getting married and graduating high school. I was quickly thrust into a new chapter in my life by moving to Guam with my husband. Talk about a different culture.
I’ll tell you what I did expect, paradise. I expected to leave high school, along with all it’s drama and immaturity. I expected to come into my own maturity as a wife and college student. I expected to find other wives who had done the same thing.
Let’s just say, I was sadly mistaken and rudely awakened.
This is me, Liza. I got married when I was a senior in high school, moved out of the country with my husband. I guess this is where my new chapter begins.
